Creative? Sweet! From Photo Shoot to Magazine Cover…

Our friends over at Langara are hosting a session covering what goes on between the click of a shutter to the final production on a cover. If you’re interested in checking out what happens between Step A and Step B (and just how many other steps there are!)

From Photo Shoot to Magazine Cover… Ever wonder what goes on from the click of the shutter on the digital camera to the final distribution of a magazine cover?

In a FREE Seminar, Langara College Continuing Studies Applied Arts Programs answer all of these questions and more with a Live Presentation of photography to final electronic publication. Attendees will be witness to the Creative Process involving the Art Director, Photographer, Photoshop Artist, Graphic Designer and how Digital Technology including cameras, computers and Adobe’s Creative Suite software fit into the creative process.

Join us on July 20th, 2008 for “Creative? Sweet!”, an exciting presentation of the nuances involved in model direction, photographic lighting principles, image selection, fashion/beauty retouching, working with art direction, layout principles and PDF creation of the final magazine for online and electronic distribution.

All attendees of the presentation will have access to a PDF with interactive material, notes from the presentation as well as many tips, tricks and techniques discussed and shown during the presentation. This PDF will also show the final result of the presentation’s photo shoot and final assembly as its cover page!
