Adobe launches InDesign User Group (IDUG) in Vancouver!

The Vancouver InDesign User Group chapter is now official! Vancouver’s creatives now have a vehicle through which to share ideas, learn advanced techniques and technologies, network, and stay ahead of the curve.

Adobe is pleased to invite you to our inaugural meeting on April 23. Please join us as we welcome Adobe’s Sebastian Distefano, who will treat us to his vast InDesign knowledge. Details below.

This meeting will cover an introduction to the new features found in Adobe InDesign CS3. For those just getting started and those already knowledgeable about InDesign, be prepared to leave with your head filled with amazing productivity tips and design ideas:

• Getting the most from the new common Adobe user interface
• New Transparency Effects control
• Taking advantage of placing an InDesign file in another InDesign file
• New text variables, advanced bullets and numbering, advanced find and replace features, and using GREP searches
• Plus lots of other new features and refinements
