I like code. I don’t know why, people think I’m weird, but I like seeing systems and patterns within the code. One of the most appealing things about it is that it’s constantly changing and new ideas and concepts (see microformats). One of the great ways to stay on top of new processes, learn some new coding techniques (see Transcending CSS) and meet some like minded individuals is to check out conferences. One of which takes place in Vancouver every year and is called Web Directions North. I encourage everyone to check out the info about but I noticed something come along my RSS feed this morning that I had to spread the word about.

In the name of education and corrupting expanding the upcoming design minds of tomorrow, the conference is opening up a select number of student tickets. So if you’re a full time student, like code, and wanna nerd it out for a few days, check out the low down on this opportunity.
