AUXILIARY INSTRUCTOR DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGN

The Digital Graphic Design Department requires a highly talented professional to take on challenging teaching assignments. The successful candidate must be able to teach all aspects of Graphic Design, Web Design, Adobe CS2, QuarkXPress, HTML, DreamWeaver and Flash. Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years recent experience in Digital Graphics using a Macintosh platform
• Two years formal training in Art, Design, and Typography/Graphic design
• Two years formal training in Web Design and interface design or equivalent
• B.C. Provincial Instructor’s Diploma or equivalent, or willingness to complete the ID program
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, and supervising adult learners is an asset
• Excellent liaisons/contacts within the professional community
