The energy and excitement of the annual SIGGRAPH conference held in Boston this summer, will be brought directly to Vancouver this September by screening the SIGGRAPH 2006 Electronic Theatre. This is always a memorable annual event for the Vancouver computer graphics community, both for those who were not able to attend the conference itself, as well as for attendees, providing an event in which to reflect on their experiences of having “visited the future” during their time at the conference.

These pieces are the world’s most innovative, imaginative works in computer graphics and interactive techniques (animation, visualization, simulation, visual effects, and technical imagery), they are produced by adventurers who blend art and science into unique visual experiences that leave you in awe, having no other option but to beg for more.
