Now accepting design entries for the 2006 Lotus Awards

British Columbia’s largest and most prestigious marketing awards show, the 2006 Lotus Awards will be held at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver on November 15th. To enter, send in your most ambitious design work before August 14th or submit online at LotusAwards.com.

What constitutes good design? From the graphic to the interactive, we wrestle with this question 365 days a year. It’s subjective. It’s elusive. It inspires us to craft art from abstractions. And at the 2006 Lotus Awards, it will gather us for one night to celebrate the good, contemplate the not-so-good and determine the year’s most worthy.

This year, our esteemed panel of Design Judges will include Ann Willoughby (Willoughby Design – Kansas City), Ian Chilvers (AtelierWorks – London, England) and Steven Cornwell (Cornwell Design – Melbourne Australia). And for the first time in Lotus’ history, an online gallery at ISTHISGOOD.CA will provide entrants with the opportunity to showcase their design talents to a much larger market.

It all ends with the Lotus Awards show in November – a coming together of Western Canada’s top design shops, interactive boutiques and ad agencies to acknowledge the very best of the very good. We hope to see you there!
