A good digital printing firm is:
20/20 Printing, located at 2077 Alberta Street, Vanc.
Tel 604 2077.
Speak to Audrey or Lorne.

I am constantly impressed with the quality output from Artistat (Tel: 604 688 6141). Many times their output is far better than press quality.
April 4th, 2006 at 1:58 pm
Thanks guys that’s great. I’m going to try out AJ since a few ppl have mentioned them and I’ve inquired, their rate are good. Cheers!
April 4th, 2006 at 3:29 pm
Our shop has had a lot of success with AJ Graphics in Vancouver for small run digital pieces. Another digital printer to try is EasyPrint a division of Metropolitan Fine Printers.
April 5th, 2006 at 8:40 pm
Of course, we’d be remiss not to mention our sponsor friends Easy Print (Metrolpolitan Fine Printing) or Hemlock Printers. They both have digital capabilities and do superb work and good prices.

I know one I WILL NEVER recomend - Printplicity Enterprises at E.2nd. Ave. - not only are they totally unreliable but dishonest to boot. They lost us a huge contract due to their giving us the runaround, so be careful if you do somehow end up dealing with them.
January 25th, 2007 at 5:55 pm
We have been using Printplicity for a long period of time adn we never run into any problem with them. Many time they have notified us with the problem that we may encounter with our layout and colour. They have superb service and I personally would highly recommand them to anyone.
February 17th, 2007 at 9:21 pm
I use TPH (The printing house) They are fast. They have great service. Never had a problem. Never the run-around. Honest and realible.
Highly recommand. Competitive prices.

InPrint Graphics is very much professional and 24×7 days service. This is good for short run prints. You can contact Dave on 9922322.
August 28th, 2007 at 2:46 pm
Copies Plus across from InPrint is pretty good for when you just need a few prints. Myself and other students I know have had some very good pieces printed there.
September 6th, 2007 at 11:57 pm
Together Production is another good print shop. Good service, professional and always on time. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Green Printer does really good print jobs. They print digitally on recycled paper and have reasonable prices.

As mentioned above in #1, PacBlue Digital Imaging does great work on small jobs and also has a waterless digital press which prints on recycled stock.
October 22nd, 2007 at 2:25 am
I would higherly recommended if you guys are looking for a nice quality business cards. They have these silk lamination cards that are superb quality and price is great…. actualy unblieveable for the quality you get. I tried ask around when everyone is charging 140 - 200 these guys just beat all of their prices with great service. I am impress with them!
October 22nd, 2007 at 9:28 pm
I’ll second GreenPrinter.
They are nice, fast and reliable.
October 23rd, 2007 at 7:23 am
Yes, I would recommend Green Printer guys too. They got a nice eco-calculator, which shows you _exactly_ how your print job affects the enviroment (how much trees et all you saved) and it goes in the realtime - so you can see, for example how your choice of paper affects the nature. That is a very nice touch.
October 23rd, 2007 at 7:25 am
Ooops. I didn’t know that putting something in the ‘website’ field links my name to that site. Nevermind that - I am not affiliated with them I just wanted to create a link in my comment.
Like that: http://www.greenprinteronline.com

Together Production, they do have very good quality on their offset printing. Specially on their in house silk laminated card stock. they have the best deal so far. Their service is very good. Turnaround time is a usually need couple days more.
But for the price and quality is worth to try.
October 28th, 2007 at 10:49 am
I will vote for Together Production Creative Group Inc.
Their silk lamination cards is so different from other paper stock. Great price too! i got my 1000 cards for only $85 boths side full colro and silk laminated.

Hey Tom.
I’m a little confused on which company your referring to?
Thanks
December 18th, 2007 at 9:00 am
Where would you go if you just want 25 copies of a flyer, but really nicely done and on glossy paper?
December 20th, 2007 at 8:38 am
East Van Graphics and speak with Jeff.
They do fantastic low run work and can utilize
all types of stock.

I would like to recommend Green Printer too. Like guys above said - they’re very fast and final quality was wery satisfactory.
I don’t really care about all the green stuff, but I can certaily see how someone who do care can appreciate their effort to preserve the nature. Anyway it is nice to know that you can save some while doing your printing job.

A great company to work with is Juke Box Print http://www.jukeboxprint.com Needed some quick laster copies and they printed this fairly quickly. Also they print full colour posters for only $9. Great registration and rich colours.
January 29th, 2009 at 11:08 am
We have used Fineprint Consulting in Port Coquitlam for a variety of projects from the straightforward to the unusual. http:/www.theprintportal.ca
They are consistently match our price/quality expectations. Service is outstanding.

If your looking for the best deals on strictly digital printing in Vancouver I would recommend JukeBox.

Ask for Danton, he will help you to the fullest.
June 7th, 2009 at 8:29 am
I recommend Colourtime.com. They are located in downtown Vancouver and fast and friend service. The use the latest digital and offset printing machines.
June 11th, 2009 at 5:50 am
Trust me Vanprint is the best shop I have delt with. Very quick turn a round. I’ve tried others. They farm out there printing and it takes 2 weeks or so. Vanprint has 2 real stores where you can go and walk in. I’ve been dealing with the broadway location for 3 years and I’d like to thank the people at Vanprint. Thanks Tom….Dave

I like to use Grand & Toy’s new Business Centres, conveniently located for me (downtown Burrard/Dunsmuir in Bentall Tower 3 or Granville). They’ve hired Graphic Designers to run their print centres, so their solutions are always creative and they understand how to meet my needs. Also, their prices are competitive and they’ll often try to work with me to stay inside of my budget. Try ‘em if you’re in the area.
July 12th, 2009 at 3:09 pm
I also like the Grand & Toy in the Bentall Centre, Shawna (I think that was her name) really knows her stuff, and I’ve always been happy with the results. I was less impressed with the one on Granville St. I’ve been to that one twice, and both times I visited the lady running the print centre kept me waiting while she chatted with the previous client, and she didn’t really seem to know what she was doing with the print settings.

I think Ultra X Press has the best rates in the city for digital printing, same day turn around, and they are willing to make price breaks for non-profits and sponsored events. Speak to Salim.
October 27th, 2009 at 9:18 am
I am thinking of buying a digital print shop in down town Vancouver. This is a good way to meet people in graphic media. Is there anyone come across any shop owner wanted to retire and sell the shop?
November 2nd, 2009 at 6:49 am
This posting seems like almost everybody that wrote in it works or owns the company there posting about. pacblue is the biggest rip off, juke box print failed at everything I tired to give them, badly. I would recommend 2 shops in East Van, A+ printing on main and Vanprint, A+ is the cheapest poster printer for 2 colour and Vanprint seems to do everything. That’s my 2 cents. M
January 28th, 2010 at 9:41 pm
don’t you all have anything better to do ?
February 1st, 2010 at 4:54 am
Try these guys, they specialize in silk cards. The best thing is they dont charge any setup fee for finishing like die cut, stamp foil and emboss and more. Like my card with 1000qty with full color silk card 2 sides with emboss and stamp foil is like 200 bucks other place would charge anything from 400 to 600 bucks.
Oh i also was looking throught their website if you are designers, artists and apparently reseller you can get up to 30% discount. Too bad i am not in the field.
Anyways it’s good if you are looking for soemthing unique and dont cost an arm and a leg.
As for digital print i would go for TPH. they are fast.
February 11th, 2010 at 9:03 pm
After reading some of the comments left by InPrint Graphics, I have to say that this is completely untrue. I had the worse experience with them just the other day. Horrible customer service. I need a quick binding job done and they made up all sorts of reasons why they need to charge more because of it being a “custom” job. There is nothing custom about punching holes into a standard lettersize paper. Then finally said that they just can’t do it because they were busy and refuse to provide other solutions.
All in all, horrible service in a little store crammed with printers and loose sheets everywhere.
Stay away from InPrint Graphics. Consider yourself warned.
March 9th, 2010 at 11:57 pm
Martin, you are right it is more like a place to advertise here. So stop advertising here and maybe let the clients to comment on here. Now just to correct what Dave(inprint) said about his digital printer. Digital printing is no where would come close to offset printer quality. Ask anyone in the printing industry, do you think a digital printer that’s worth 100k - 150k (Top of the line commercial level) would be comparable to offset printers that are 8 to 9 times the cost than the digital printers. Even if you ask Xerox sales they would tell you the same thing offset printer is much higher quality than any of the digital printer.
Here are some of the printers i’ve tried:
A Plus
Impressions in print
clubcard
colourtime
together production creative group
budget printing
van print
