An interesting and pleasant phenomenon has been occuring on the national GDC ListServe email forum this week. Vancouver designers have spontaneously coordinated a social gathering to occur on Wednesday, March 22nd at Bridges on Granville Island at 5:30pm. For those unable to attend the Graphex Gala evening the following Friday, this will be a wonderful opportunity to network with local colleagues, form new relationships or reunite with old friends. Just look for the large group wearing all black, with mostly shaved heads or goatees and thick-rimmed glasses talking about how “clean” the beer tastes or criticising the typesetting on the bar menu.
